My husband is abusing me with Cabbage Patch Kid shoes! Call the authorities!
Wanna' know a secret? I love football. I don't understand it very well & ask enough questions during a game to make my husband a bit nuts (which might explain why he's beating me with doll shoes) but I love it! And tonight's Superbowl did not disappoint...even if I was rooting for the Cardinals...and even if Bruce Springsteen played the half time show. I skipped it. Sorry. Don't much care for The Boss. I realize this makes me unAmerican.
That being said, I would never begrudge Steelers fans their win. Those are some hard-core football fans. Steelers & Packers fans. They frighten me. Snow, ice, rain, below freezing temps & they're still out there screaming their heads off. Die hard.
Did you have a favorite commercial tonight? I thought they did a pretty good job this year. I liked the snow globe Doritos's commercial. And I'm really stoked (yes, I said "stoked") about the new G.I. Joe, Transformers, and Star Trek movies. Oh, and then there's the Conan O'Brien Party Starter commercial....funny!
Gotta' run. The Office is on & I need the laughs.

I am so out of touch that I: 1. was watching the 60 minutes special on Obama, 2. couldn't figure out what channel it was on and 3. kept tuning in to the football portion, when I wanted to watch the commercials!
I'm not a fan of the Boss either.
I liked the careerbuilder commercials. And that one coke commercial with the bugs, wonderfully imaginative. I missed the GI Joe preview... will have to go find it. Pixar's UP looks good to.
I am ridiculously excited for G.I.Joe, and Transformers 2 this summer...we already booked sitters, and I plan to sit by the laptop and pre-order tickets the night before each movie so that we can go opening night...something I haven't done since the X-Men movies came out...
And while I loved most of the commercials, I must admit I was a bit disappointed in Danika Patrick, and appalled at the GoDaddy commercial...really, are they selling sex or domain names? And shame on Danika for belittling herself and other professional female athletes...what a step backwards that was... OY!
And I'm sad that the Cardinals lost, I feel they got robbed on those last few plays...and Bruce S-U-C-K-S! He didn't even play "Born in the USA"...how lousy...Jennifer Hudson singing the National Anthem, however...holy....Freaking...Cow!
