Sleep!! At long, long last I'm getting long uninterrupted blocks of sleep. Wanna' know a horrible secret? Bitsy has never slept through the night. Not once. None of my kids ever slept through the night before their first birthdays. Don't tell Inkling. I hope & pray Grasshopper doesn't follow his cousins' example. I'm sure he's already sleeping through the night.
Yesterday she didn't wake up until 4:30 in the morning. I was shocked when I realized it. Today she made it until 5:30 & for the first time in as long as I can remember, I didn't wake up once in the night. I slept solid from about 10:20 to 5:30 this morning. I was probably in high school the last time I slept that long without waking. It was marvelous.

OK, so I'm not great at challenge postings. I probably won't find something to write about it every day for 30 days. So if I'm lagging behind, feel free to go check out Revive Our Hearts, the web site where I found the challenge.
Today's challenge is to let others know how much you love your spouse. Does your family know how much he means to you? Do you edify him to his own family? Does his mother know how much you appreciate her son? Speak highly of him to others today, blog about him, tell a friend. It doesn't have to be elaborate, just drop a word of praise for him in conversation.

On that note, I will let you in on a secret. I married FarmBoy because he makes me laugh. That's not the only reason I married him, but it is one of the reasons I fell in love with him. He made me laugh all the time. I couldn't remember laughing with my previous boyfriends, at least not like we do. He can even make me laugh when I'm fuming mad at him...which can frustrate me even further, but it can also help diffuse situations quickly. He's goofy & silly & I love him!

I married mine for the same reason :)
You are very lucky!
I think humor does add to the longevity of a relationship.
A good night's sleep...at last!
Oh you poor poor momma!!!!! You are a much stronger person than me because I would have gone clinically insane if I had not had a full nights sleep in over a year... Actually the crazies of sleep deprivation set in on me after 4 months. But anyway now you will be getting sleep YAYYYYY
And on your "note" I married m hubby because I could not see myself in any other life other than the one that I saw the promise of with him. I saw that he was reliable, steadfast, resourceful, intelligent and would comunicate with me, grow with me, and would help facilitate positive change within myself. The changes that I wanted. That and he was Hot, tall, sexy and a huge Star Trek fan.... and he still is (all of the above ;) )
Enjoy the rest Mommy!
Why I married my husband? Hmmm... We just love each other's company. We're a good fit!
Do you, or did you, ever watch Malcom in the Middle? Well, just this week his mom, Lois, was sleepless for four nights with the baby. Her husband and sons went to work/school and when they returned the baby was in his carry seat and Lois was sound asleep...breast-feeding a loaf of bread. For some reason, I thought of you!
(Except now that you've got her weaned, you may actually get some sleep.)
Oh Nan, that's funny! I love that show & identify with Lois more often than not! When #1 Son was tiny, Husband brought him to me to nurse in the night. Husband wasn't fully awake & somehow combined BabyGirl & #1 Son's names into a new name when he told me to feed the baby. I sat down to nurse this "new third child" and did so for 15 minutes before realizing we only had 2 children & this was indeed #1 Son. Oy. Those were tough days.
