FarmBoy update

He's feeling a bit better now. He's still in pain, but it's not near as sever as it was. He's currently sitting in the arm chair hiccuping (which he's been doing all night & all day....weird). We're not sure if the symptoms are subsiding or if the pain meds are working really well...probably a combination of both.

At the ER his blood work showed no signs of infection & the urine sample was clean (somehow ruling out kidney stones). The ultrasound only showed the fluid I mentioned.

Our ER only has one doctor there at a time. There were at least 8 people in beds while we were there. And the doc that was there has no bedside manner to speak of. He doesn't answer questions. He doesn't stick around long enough for you to ask. He gives as little information as possible and acts like any information you as a patient/family member has to offer is completely worthless.

I talked to Husband's Aunt CB. She works at a slightly larger hospital to our north (perhaps the same hospital Pilot works in...I'm not positive). She told me her opinions of the urologists that work there. If Husband has another bout similar to last night, if anything changes, or we have trouble controlling the pain, I'm taking him to that hospital.

At the moment, QM & Daddy are on their way up here. MIL has taken care of the kids so I could run to town to fill his scripts. Busha sent me home with food so I don't have to cook. Uncle E's girls are going to come watch the FarmHands so I can do chores. The boys are still running fevers, but they are most definitely coming down slowly but surely.

I'm trying to nap when I can. Please keep praying for us.

Lots of prayers...keep us posted...

Kidney stones sometimes cause blood or clouding in the urine, just so you know...also, high levels of protein can show a start of one...my brother has them more than I care to know about.

Hugs, and know that Mama and Daddy are going to be there to help you out...
