Hay fever! Yeah for me!

Someone shoot me now, please. OK, so maybe I can wait for my Claratin to kick in, but in the mean time will someone please put me in a chemically induced coma? Please?

I took the FarmHands to see Uncle E yesterday. They moved him out of the ICU & into a regular room. He should be home today or tomorrow depending on how well he's doing. He was his normal happy self...just slightly toned down & slightly drugged up. B.B. was very relieved to see him. He'd been telling me, "I'm scared a'cause Uncle E's got a broked collar bone & is still at da doctor." The FarmHands asked a few times if Uncle E was going to die. I thought they should see for themselves....especially after all their teddy bears had broken collar bones yesterday morning.

In his normal way, Uncle E was more worried about everyone else than himself. There were people in the hospital he knew & he'd have gone visiting if he could have dragged himself out of bed. He sent the FarmHands home with candy bars from a balloon bouquet a local church sent him. He also asked BabyGirl if she could come help baby sit him when he gets home. She's not real sure about that....really, baby sitting a grown up?! :)

Today is Bucka's heart cath test. We won't know anything until late this afternoon. I'm praying for good news & an easy fix.

QM & HT both have Strep. I'm wondering if Bitsy didn't give it to them. BabyGirl had it when we got home from TN but because Bitsy was on antibiotics when we left, she may have carried it with no symptoms. I know QM would like to be here for Bucka & Busha, but she's just too ill.

We went to visit with Busha, Bucka, and Uncle Right Reverend last night (he's up from Florida for the test). Busha told me they're getting a new puppy. I'm so relieved! At first Bucka didn't want another dog. They were too attached to Mitzi. But Busha said she can't stand living without one. The house is too quiet & they need the company. She called the breeder they got Mitzi from & the breeder said she has a litter due in 2 weeks.

The new parents are apricot poodles (just like Mitzi), but she can't guarantee the new pup will be the same size as Mitzi was. When they brought Mitzi home she was 4 months old (I think) & weighed just over 1 pound. At her heaviest she weighed 3 lbs 2 ounces & she was 2 lbs 6 oz when she passed away. Bucka said he'd rather have one that weighed a bit more this time.

I'm so glad they're getting a new pup. She'll keep them busy & entertained. Right now the house is just too quiet. So now they have a few months to prepare & buy her lots of pink girly things.
