Updates

Update #1: Lee came out of his coma. Sunday he took a turn for the worst (his lungs shut down) and the local hospital flew him to Evansville to the big hospital. The family was told Staph, Pneumonia, and a lung disease caused by cocaine use. Worst case scenarios were tossed about. Heather & Sam didn't sleep for 3 days. The last time I talked to Sam, Lee was conscious & coherent. The pulmonologist ruled out everything except pneumonia (a pretty bad case of it in one lung). They were taking out his breathing tube. I've not heard anything since, so I'm assuming no news is good news. I know he still has a horribly long road ahead of him, but we're all praying this was the straw that broke the camel's back. The nature of addiction being what it is, no one knows.

Update#2: Aunt Silverbelle may get to come home today. She had an episode Tuesday night & her heart rate dropped, so they kept her again last night. I haven't heard anything this morning.

Update #3: Grandpa M&M is moving to a nursing home/rehab center today to begin an intensive rehab program. He has to learn to walk again. He's not thrilled with the prospect, but he has to do it. He's going to the same rehab center Grandma was in after her stroke. It's the #1 pick. Now if only he'll listen....

Little BIL leaves this afternoon for KY. He'll be stationed there for the remainder of his time in the Army unless he gets shipped to Iraq. He's said if they send him to Iraq he may re-up. We're hoping he'll get to stay stateside...but he joined the Army in the middle of a war, so we're not holding our breaths.

I've made it through two of the CD's Art made me (5 more to go). I'm so lucky to have a musically inclined friend. She keeps me rocking! Not to mention, the girl has mad taste in music.

My goal for the day is to get the house back in order (keeping it clean when all 4 kids are home all day isn't an easy task) and convince Husband that BabyGirl & I need to go see Prince Caspian tonight while he stays with the boys & Bitsy.
