The bridge over the river FarmHand.
The yard is still flooded. The kids are having a ball tromping around in the muck & the mud. Their dad built a bridge of sorts so they could cross without getting muddy. It's kind of pointless now. Oh well. Thank heavens for rubber boots & Oxyclean.
My hunk of a hubby is mowing the lawn....or the field we call a lawn. The smell of wild onion hangs in the air, only slightly tinged with the aroma of rabbit manure spread around the trees in the orchard.
My windows are open (at least some of them), my sheets are fresh off the line (or were last night), the sun is shining through the grime on the windows. My hostas are peeking out from under the pile of dead leaves littering my flower beds.
B.B. named the new calf...since it's "his" (they each have their own cows to name & claim). Sorry folks, we all lost out on that one. Her name is Cinderella. Husband says it's appropriate since her grandmother's name was Cindy. She was Husband's first calf.
I want to go four wheeler riding...maybe if Bitsy takes along nap. Not holding my breath on that one. Besides the fact that I really need to walk instead. I haven't gone walking since Tuesday. Whoops. Not off to a great start here.

My favorite is the pretty yellow flower! :D
Wish I could say the same...although YESTERDAY it was sunny and actually warm enough to not wear a jacket. You'll have to read this morning's post to see what happened when I woke up today. :(
You have a great blog.
