I don't want to learn new things today
Have you ever received a phone call from a relay service? Can I just say that is seriously confusing? Especially if you weren't expecting it an don't know the person calling you. It was a man (William) calling about our puppies, but a woman relaying the conversation. After she reads what's been written, she says, "Go ahead." When you're finished responding you say, "Go ahead." Really not as simple as it sounds. If she personally is speaking to you she says, "Operator here." I need a nap after a 3 minute conversation...especially the part where William was trying to give me his email address. Oy.

It's not my favorite way to have a conversation. I made a good friend awhile back through work who was deaf - and the hardest part about relay conversations is that you totally miss the conversational aspect of talking to someone! I'd rather email or IM - or talk face to face. It was always hard to tell someone else what you wanted them to type to the recipient of your words. So, yeah! I know what you mean.
