Someone please remind me that I am no longer a 21 year old with minimal responsibilities. I cannot stay up until 2 am watching movies and expect to be functional when my 4 children hit the floor running at 7 the next morning. No matter how badly I want to watch Transformers. I knew when I started watching it at 10:30 that I was in trouble. I knew Husband would get home at 11 & want me to start it over again. I knew I'd be up way to late...but did that stop me? Obviously not. Now I'm just hoping I don't crash about the time Inkling gets here.
Can you see the rainbow? That was our one bright spot in a week of rain. Uncle E called me just before sun set to tell me it was there. It was a full bow right over our front field. Beautiful.
Oh, and I keep forgetting to tell you all what my husband did last Sunday. He went to the grocery. Before you roll your eyes and say, "So?" let me tell you, Husband does not grocery shop. Ever. I can count on one hand the times he's been shopping without me & each time I was either deathly ill or less than a week postpartum. Those few times he was sent with a detailed list of things to bring home. He goes with me to the store almost every week, but doesn't really pay attention to what I'm buying.
When we came home from QM's Sunday he came in the house and asked if I had checked the fridge. I'd been home a total of 3 minutes with 3 kids yelling, "Where is Daddy? We want to play out side! Why isn't Daddy here?" so I didn't really have the chance to peruse my surroundings. When I did I discovered he not only got milk and apples (staples in our house) but enough food to get us through the week. I was thrilled to be able to avoid a trip to town as soon as I'd returned from Tennessee!
We put the pups in another paper this week & cut our price...here's hoping they start selling soon. We've only sold one so far. ugh.

You are no longer a 21 year old with minimal responsibilities, but sometimes you need to forget. You'll be fine. I love you. Transformers, robots in disguise. Gotta love it.
What a good man Husband is, and what a great reminder of one of those little reasons you fell in love in the first place!
Now...if you're lucky, you can have the 3 at home quiet at the same time at some point, and rest...
if i didn't live in the city, i would buy one of the pups!
and who says you have to be 21 with minimal responsibility?
