My allergies kicked into high gear yesterday & today I'm battling a massive sinus headache. Put that on top of sleep deprivation from last night & you have prime breeding grounds for Evil Mother.
#1 Son has been having nightmares that require me or Husband to come lay in bed with him until he falls back to sleep (this can take an hour or longer). I'm usually the one to do it since even with waking up to nurse Bitsy in the night, I'm clocking more REM time than Husband on a regular basis (gotta' say, I love co-sleeping). When I laid down with him last night my ear started hurting & my nose started dripping. This is not conducive to a restful night's sleep.
And this is just the topper to a great week (yes, that is sarcasm).
- Last Thursday B.B. broke the kitchen faucet sprayer off. I have the kind that only has a sprayer...it isn't one that comes up from the side, it's the actual faucet. This probably means the entire thing will have to be replaced...have I mentioned our house is only 4 years old?
- Friday we had a blow out on a tire on the way to school and ended up getting all new tires for the van. Not something we wanted to do as we don't even have 40,000 miles on it.
- Yesterday the power steering went out in Husband's truck so he's been taking my van to work. Now we have to find someone who'll replace the power steering fluid lines in a '94 Ford Ranger and not charge us more than the thing's worth.
- Bitsy's been crying for 3 days now (without a voice).
- I'm sick. Advil isn't helping. Claritin isn't helping. Both always help me.
- Tomorrow is our snack day for BabyGirl's class...a fact I didn't find out about until after I went to town Friday so I have to bake cookies tonight. It's 8 pm now.
- Oh, and I almost forgot, last night at 10 pm the drain line from my washing machine slid out of the wall & water went all over my laundry room.
Where do I go to give my 2 weeks notice?

Oh, I feel so bad for you and yet you are crackin' me up. Two weeks notice, yeah right.
(((HUGS)))
I'll trade yours for mine....the new tub and fixtures drained...to the basement floor and the sheetrock that was delivered while the dog killed another chicken and the primer peeled off the house from the down pour yesterday and I still have no lights!!! ugh! love you...so sorry your sick....
Hang in there...it has to get better sometime. It will either rain outside and your allergies will be better, or the sleep deprivation will become so bad you'll just go numb. Auto-pilot does wonders. Good Luck, girl!
