B.B. was playing outside while Husband did his chores. I heard my wind chimes clang & a small voice shouting, "Open dis door!" This is B.B.'s MO since he can't open the screen door & knock and he can't reach the door bell.
I opened the door to a very excited little boy holding his bug box. "Look Mommy! I caughted me a tat-er-pidder [that's B.B. speak for caterpillar]! It's a very hungry tat-er-pidder! You hasa' cook it now!"
I just asked him if he was going to eat it. "Yeah! You hava' make it like a chicken nugget, den I tan eat it!"
Uncle Gick says caterpillars are very hard to skin.

It's the Hobbit coming out in him. In the movie Hidalgo, Franks says about locusts, "They ain't too bad once you get past the legs." I don't know what that means when it comes to caterpillars
