Confessions, antibiotics, and a bodyguard

Confession #1: I love catalogues.

Confession #2: I never order anything from catalogues.

Confession #3: This is post 623.

Confession #4: I have only been blogging for one year, eight months, and eighteen days.

Confession #5: That is an average of one post per day.

Confession #6: I was without an Internet connection for almost 7 full months of that time.

That's all I've got for now. It's amazing how much difference 24 hours on antibiotics will make if you start on them soon enough. I usually wait until I'm too sick to function before I go to the doctor. I probably wouldn't have gone at all this time if Bitsy hadn't been sick. Have I learned my lesson? Probably not.

Husband's truck goes into the shop Sunday night. The mechanic (who used to work with Husband at C***P) said it should be finished before he had to leave for work on Monday so I should have my wheels back next week.

Last week, when the older two were in school, I was getting Bitsy dressed with the help of B.B. (He was supervising). When I pulled her arm through her sleeve, Bitsy's finger got caught & pulled back. As soon as I realized what I'd done, I eased her hand out and began to comfort her. It took a good 3 seconds before the wail came out (you've seen that silent scream thing before, right? Yeah, that's what happened. I hate that! It always freaks me out). I kept saying, "Oh, baby, I'm so sorry" when I felt this hard pinch on my arm. I turned to see B.B. glaring at me with all the righteous indignation his nearly 3 year old self could muster. "Hey! Don't pinch, B.B. That's not nice!" "You hurted my Baby Bitsy! You're bad, Mommy. You no hurt my Baby Bitsy or I pinch you 'gin!" I hope he's still protective when she starts school...although that could lead to many calls from the principal.

Oooooh. I love catalogs too and spend far too much time just perusing them. I get overly excited with the Pottery Barn one arrives.
