More on Angel Baby...Please Keep Praying!

The first email is from Friday night. I just got it....sorry.

Angel Baby quit breathing on the MediFlight ride to St. Louis. The doctor had to bag her again, and started oxygen. She has had so many episodes, now, every time the doctors try to draw blood, she quits breathing....so they have intibated her, and are talking about putting her on a respirator. They want to do a spinal tap....and the doctors at Children's hospital think this could be a viral condition.....or maybe some sort of congenital heart disease.....really not sure until more tests are completed. Again, thanks for your prayers.

And this is from Saturday morning:

The spinal fluid came back clear. Angel Baby's test on the pressure on her legs and arms, shows a difference, so the doctors are going to run tests on her heart. Also, they are going to do a CT scan on her brain, to see if she has excess fluid. They had to remove her from the drug to keep her from fighting the tube in her throat, because she isn't moving as much as they would like. Grandma & Grandpa (QM's old neighbors) are going on up to the hospital. Second Time Mommy is BEAT. She is still recovering herself, and needs to get some rest.....if she will. More updates as I get them. Thanks again for your prayers...

I have to say this episode is terrifying to me. First STM has to deal with cancer (which might not have been found until it was too late if not for the pregnancy), surgery for the cancer, then preeclampsia & carpal tunnel brought on by pregnancy, her c-section, and now Angel Baby isn't doing well. I believe her faith is strong, but she needs all the prayers she can get. And while your at it, please remember her folks, husband, and young son too. They all need it!
