A couple in Arizona gave birth to sextuplets yesterday. Yikes!! The husband was on the Today show this morning with their doctor and he asked specifically for prayers for his wife & her recovery. Her blood volume nearly doubled during pregnancy & she only lost the amount normally lost during a c-section for a single birth. The massive excess of blood caused her organs to malfunction including her heart (I believe they said she went into cardiac failure yesterday). She's doing better now, but is still in the ICU. Miraculously, all 6 babies are breathing on their own (I believe they were born at 31 weeks). Meridith Vierra mentioned another family that gave birth to sextuplets last week, but those babies are not doing well. They were born at only 22 weeks.

I woke up at 5:30 this morning. It was one of those things when you know you won't be going back to sleep. Especially not when the dog vomits in her kennel behind you a few minutes later.

Why is it that with school out and bed time being an hour later than during the school year, my kids now get up (almost with out fail) by 7 am everyday? During school I have to drag them out of bed...Is this in the Children's Handbook? ~ Must be awake before your parents are fully rested & ready to cope. Right beneath ~ Must ask mom 3,000,000 questions every time the phone rings. And the ever popular ~ Must (at all costs) prevent mom from eating a hot meal for the next 14 years.

Husband hit something on the way home from work last night. It was laying in the road & he couldn't see it until it was too late. What ever it was, it blew out his back tire & bent the rim...so today I will try to track down a new one...fun.

Ugh, the sound of vomiting is always enough to get ya outta bed.

Glad to know Hub is ok, but no fun hunting down car parts, eh?
