Puppies and Presents

We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Queen Mother. She and Unkie Di went to the quilt shop today...and we may never see them again. Actually Q.M. said they were on their way home and then she'd be over to visit with her grandbabies.

The boys seem to be all better. No one's been sick or run a fever. #1 Son complained of a belly ache this afternoon and went and took a nap, but he's been fine since. The sun was shining and the weather was mild when we got home from picking up BabyGirl, so I let the kids run outside for about an hour. Came in, took baths, and are now on viewing #5 of Moe & the Big Exit (in less than 24 hours). "I know, I'll call 'im Moe. It's Indian fer 'lookin' fer gold and findin' a baby!'" It's funny...They're quiet...It starts with a letter about fighting with a sibling...It's all good in my book.

I keep forgetting to post about Aurora and her pups. She only has 3 left. 3 out of 10. I'm pretty sure she sat on the others. Danes are known to do that. Especially young mothers. For the record, I didn't want to breed her until her second heat, but Husband was sure she'd be fine. He now agrees with me that she was too young. But the three left (one female and 2 males including the fat boy above) are fat and healthy and growing.
B.B. is demanding Mac & Cheese, so I guess I'd better go. He's convinced the boy on the back of the box is him...I don't know why, it looks NOTHING like him...not to mention the boy must be 7 or 8 & B.B. is only 2.
Q.M. just came in bearing gifts...including a fabulous white coat I've been visiting at a local boutique (early birthday gift).

Fat boy looks adorable, and appears to sleep through anything.

Yeah for QM coming to Visit. I hope that it was a lovely one.

aw... cute! so sorry to hear Aurora was not quite ready to take care of her pups. Or a little too eager to keep them warm.
