Go, Farm Wife, Go, Farm Wife...

Step one of the dress for Did's wedding is complete. And it only took 2 phone calls to my mother...both were just to check if something I thought was right was indeed right (and both were). Honestly, the laying out of the pattern and initial cut are the hardest part for me. I can never lay out the pattern the way the instruction say, so I have had hit & misses in the past. This one I feel very comfortable about. And to top it off, there's enough fabulous purple fabric left to make something for a certain little girl who loves dressing up.
Please pray that I would have just enough of my mother, my aunts, and especially Grandma M&M in me to get this dress done. Mama says I have Grandma's talent, it just needs developing...guess we'll find out if that's true or not!
