A little better...

I'm feeling a little better now. This morning I've folded 2 loads of laundry that were washed and waiting from last night. I've washed 2 more loads (one's in the dryer), cleaned the goldfish bowl (just for you Mama), and emptied and scrubbed the entire fridge. I've sat down to rest, read up on blogs, write a bit in my own, and eat a little tiny BabyRuth. Yum...oh, and I made pancakes for breakfast. So I feel much more accomplished this morning & not as tired and cranky. I need to get started on Salisbury steak for lunch & maybe tackle the dust living on top of my kitchen cabinets...but not until Husband is awake to help me off the counter tops. Then again, I may just sort thorough the tiny boy clothes that have taken over my house and see what I can wrangle up to send down for H.T. as fat boy is growing out of all his clothes...and I don't need boy clothes anymore!!!

Oh, and there has been more poop in the potty this morning! But I also think he's finished the job in his diaper. His belly hurts this morning, so he's sporting another band-aid. B.B. is in a league of his own.

It's amazing to me (as I am this way also), that getting stuff "done" is amazing for my mood. Clicking off that checklist is a great reward.

Glad you are feeling better. Chin up.

So glad you're feeling better today!
I had a good day yesterday--- shrunk the laundry pile, changed the sheets on our bed, and vacuumed the living room. This morning was another story. I finally had to kick myself into gear, go to Walmart neighborhood store and come home to make a chocolate cake and chicken pot pie for a friend who had a baby a couple of weeks ago. I'm doubling the pie recipe and making a pot pie for us while I'm at it. Before anyone's too impressed... I use frozen mixed veggies and cake mix. But I boil chicken in seasonings. I do have my limits on convenience foods! Hubby's hoping I'll be up to making a cake for us, too.
