Personal Hygiene Issues
OK, I must be a mess. #1 Son wants to know why my legs are "so pointy." I told him I haven't shaved in a few days (do not judge me), and he seems to think I need to. Then he climbs up in my lap and says, "Why do you have all those red things on your face?" (Uh, by the way, forget what I said yesterday about my skin clearing up...that lasted until noon.) He wants to know why I can't just "take the red things off." I do not know why my acne is so fascinating to him, it's always been here. Nothing really new. I haven't had clear skin since I was 15. Then he asked if I could just "shave the red things off." Ouch! When I told him that doesn't work, he answered, "Well, could you just shave your legs then?" Ugh...

Good thing he doesn't know about waxing... though I've been tempted, I have never gone that far with my legs.
Just tell him the extra hair helps you stay warm in the winter.
Did you happen to see the most beautiful girl in the world???? I LOVE YOU!!!
just tell him you have baby's hair growing on the outside instead of the inside right now. Are ya laughin? No..Ok my bad.
Hugs to you
Tell him that not shaving your legs is how you stay warm in the winter. It's like how bears hibernate......our razors hibernate for the winter and come out in time for capri season.
As for the zits....Fred #1 asked me in front of his mom and dad years ago if I had the chicken pox. He was sitting on my lap at the time too. I was mortified and ready for the hole in the floor to open up and swallow me alive. That was the same week my doctor said I had to try accutane. Talk about embarrassing. I'm sorry you are still dealing with it now.....especially because we were all told that we'd "grow out of it". What a goofy theory that was. We better not have zits in heaven though......
Know this though......I think you are absolutely beautiful, and love and adore you just the way you are.
I have to admit that the hair on my legs has moved past pointy at this point. The zits... yah, when will they go away?
