Evil Mother rears her head again...

There are crazy people wrestling behind me. Lots of yelling & thumping & superheroing & I'm a little afraid to turn around. #1 Son is morphing into the American Dragon...Baby Girl is engrossed in The Polar Express. B.B. is speed racer with his Little People School bus.

We had a horrible trip to Wal-Mart today. I was in a bad mood. Baby Girl was in a bad mood. Everyone was extremely wound up and didn't feel the need to listen to parents. Things quickly fell apart...by things, mostly I mean I fell apart. By the time we left a very crowded Wal-Mart, I was ready to abandon my family and join the circus.

Thankfully now I'm a little better. Rack it up to hormones if you like, I just know it was unpleasant for everyone involved.

Tonight I plan on putting up the tree & getting my house at least a little ready for Christmas. The spirit is beginning to creep in...

I'm in a bad mood as soon as I hit the parking lot at Wal-Mart, so I can understand your angst. Here's to a better day tomorrow.

Weekends at Wal-mart are an instant psychotic episode inducer. We drove past the galleria on the way to my niece's birthday party, and boy am I glad we hit opry mills yesterday afternoon before everyone else was off work for the weekend.... from the interstate, we could see what had to be a hundred cars circling the parking lot trying to get in. no thanks.

plus, we got a $20 gift card just for showing our receipts to the info desk clerks because we used a certain credit card. so we stayed in budget and had our tax paid for! woo hoo!

the last time we went to super wal-mart on a saturday, we regretted it and vowed to enver return.

Walmart + Saturday + Christmas in two weeks = insanity (actually I'd kinda like to say to you "what on earth were you thinkin' goin' to Wally World on a Saturday two weeks before Christmas) I avoid any type of shopping on weekends in December. Weekday mornings around 9 are a great time to Christmas shop, but I know thats not really possible for you with the boys at home still!! Good luck with the rest of your shopping, don't forgot to get online, it's so much easier!!

About three weeks I drove all the way to Wal-mart and Yin had a meltdown before we got in the store. I tried to take her in twice, but I wasn't going to deal with a screaming child. I am sure that someone wondered who was kidnapping the little Asian girl in the parking lot.

Seriously, I would like to start shopping at Wal-mart at 2am.

Hang in there!
