This Explains a Lot!

What mental disorder do you have?
Your Result: ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder)

You have a very hard time focusing, and you find it difficult to stay on task without your mind wandering. You probably zone in and out of conversations and tend to miss out on directions because you cannot focus

Paranoia
GAD (Generalized Anxiety Disorder)
Manic Depressive
OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder)
What mental disorder do you have?

Can't exactly say I disagree. Sometimes I think throwing a little OCD in would be good for me, but then again, maybe not. Of course I come by this naturally, right Inkling? A little ADD never hurt anyone.

There's a cold snap coming. I'm not too thrilled about it, being the big sissy that I am. I have to say the selfish part of me is really glad Husband went back to second shift. That means he can go out and do chores in the freezing cold and I can huddle inside by the fire place with my boys. He's better equipped for it anyway...besides, I'm in a delicate condition!

I'm doing good to stay conscious for more than 2 hours at a time. Every time I sit down without a specific task to work at (i.e. laundry, blogging, mending...I need to learn to knit!) I fall asleep. I've done it twice today. I can remember Art talking about falling asleep at a friend's house when she was carrying Syd. As I recall it wasn't one of those sweet little ,"Oh look, she's dozed off," kind of naps. I think there may have been snoring involved. Me? I just drool. Ick! So if you see me drifting off, please elbow me!

Speaking of Art, tomorrow she is scheduled to become an Auntie again. Her sister is expecting a baby girl and Art is on cloud 9...but she's battling a cold. So please pray Art's sister has an uncomplicated labor and delivery. And please pray that Art would feel much better in the morning. She refuses to miss her niece's entry into this world.

I've been watching the weather with a little apprehension. Not only is it supposed to turn cold here, but Inkling is snowed in. Not too surprising for Canada, but I'm hoping it doesn't pose a problem for her incoming company. Uncle M and Aunt D (Inkling's folks) are headed up to see her and Henry David on Saturday with Grandma and Grandpa M&M in tow. They were supposed to go in October, but Grandma had a bout of shingles. I so hope this trip goes well! Inkling has been so looking forward to it! She hasn't seen family in 6 months (yesterday was her and Henry David's 6 month anniversary).

Today is our 9 year anniversary! There are days when I am in total shock that Husband and I have been married that long. Those are usually the same days when I look at the kids and think, "Where did they come from? What nut case thought I was capable of raising children?" Then there are the days I think we've been married for an eternity. What exactly did I do before my farm boy came along? 9 years. Next year it'll be 10...and then 25...and then 50...and then great-grandbabies...and we'll think, "Where did the time go?"

Here's to living in the here and now so I don't miss anything. Here's to appreciating my Husband even when he's driving me crazy. Here's to the next 9 years. Husband, I love you and I thank God for you everyday. "I had no choice..."

Yes, I'm very concerned about the weather up in the northwest. I cry right along with the family if they don't get to go this time!!!! PRAY HARD!!!!

Happy Anniversary!! I too look at my children at times and think, "I have three children? When did that happen? I'm not old enough to have that many kids!!"

Happy Anniversary!
What a great way to celebrate your 10 year anniveresary- bringing another child into the family!

It's funny, in high school I never would have pictured you married to a farmer. Not that we knew eachother that well. I couldn't really imagine any of my friends married to farmers back then. But then, I never pictured myself married to a cop who grew up in a late 180o's farm house!

I'll be praying for Inkling's parents and your grandparents as they travel.

9 wonder filled years. I can't believe that now you not only keep your room clean but a whole house, Farmboy, kids and 2 dogs. All you need to work on now is the goldfish bowl.
HAPPY ANNIVERSARY
Next year I'll babysit and you can take a trip.
I love you both.
