In Unrelated News

In all the excitement I keep forgetting to post all the farm news. We are now a pig free farm. A few weeks back I sold the 10 piglets that were born this summer. We sold one of the sows shortly before that and the last one went to market on Monday. The two small pigs we had left went to butcher on Tuesday. In two weeks I'll have a freezer full of fresh pork, hams, bacon, porkburgers...Yum! ***** Tinkerbell's steer calf Magnus went to market last month (I think). She gave birth to a pretty little bull last week. He's the same color gray that Magnus was, but with a much larger white patch on his face. Husband immediately banded him off, so he's no longer got his "stuff" (that's how my cousins used to say he's a eunich). #1 Son named him Larry-Boy Cow...as opposed to the kitten that's named Larry-Boy Cat. ***** Wanda, the pygmy goat, had her kid this week as well. A sweet little girl that looks just like her big sister Bluebell except she has a larger white patch on her head (is this a pattern?). Baby Girl named her Fiona. **** I think that may be all the farm news for now...
