Fourth Decade?!?!

Tomorrow this Farm Wife will enter her fourth decade. Ya' know, 30 sounds much better than "fourth decade." Think I'll stick with 30.

Daddy said I'd get my pearls back at Inkling's wedding. I can't believe it's only a week and a half away. This is wild. I can't wait. Pearls, cake, a park, and Baby Girl in a fabulous lavender silk dress! My only regret will be loosing Inkling to Henry David and a bunch of Canadians!

I had a good day today. The CD player went out in my van. Since it's still under warranty and I will not make a trip to MO without the Larry-Boy CD, I took it in to a dealership today to have it replaced. That gave me a blessed 30-45 minutes to roam unhindered by my progeny.

I trekked down the road to my dad's favorite clothing store and spent about $500 in my mind on fabulous clothes, jewelry and a handbag for my mother. Then I scooted over to Needlefinger's favorite coffee shop under my fabulous blue umbrella, and sipped a vanilla chai while sitting at the tall table in the window and watching the rain. It was so peaceful. Not once did I have to take someone potty, or wipe a nose, or tell anyone to quit hitting their sibling.

I know it's been a while since I posted and I apologize. I didn't realize the following I had until I quit blogging reguarly. I've been journaling at home, but it's just not the same knowing no one will read it. I want you to know I still blog in my mind!

#1 Son will be 3 on Monday. I have no babies. B.B. now tells me he loves me (occasionally) and Baby Girl is almost out of Pre-K... Can I just say, I'm ready for another Baby? Now that that's out there, I'd better go corral the 3 wild ones running around here!

OH, Baby Girl goes to the doctor to have her ears checked tomorrow. Please pray that all is clear in the land of little girl ears! No tubes...No tubes...No tubes!

Daddy also gave me a DVD with all my posts on it. I think the word count is near 75,000 words...not suprising. If you get bored, you can go back and read the archives. At the risk of sounding conceited, I've really enjoyed it!

I'll be going by 30 and not "fourth decade" in October! And my Princess is 4 on the 28th - where does the time go?! I've missed your posts - glad to "see" you online!

I was just thinking today how much I missed your comments and your posts and...like magic...out of cyberspace...I got your comment on my blog, and I rushed over here because I knew you had been to your aunt and uncle's and had probably posted.

It's good to know everything is going well and that Inkling's wedding is so near. I hope you have a great time (and tell us all about it!)

you best wait until you can be sure that there will be no snow between you and the hospital.
I have pictures of Farmboy as your doctor and Larryboy assisting with his supper suction ears.
