I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends

Inkling wrote me a
beautiful epithet yesterday. I'm sure that wasn't her intent (to make me feel like I was observing my own funeral), but she did a great job! And if my funeral is half as fun as that post, I may stick around for it! :)

Even though I know Confessions isn't really dying, I'm still going to miss you all enormously! Here's the short list: (if I've overlooked you, I'm sorry, it doesn't mean I won't miss you too...It just means I can't handle anymore)

Art, Can't say I'll miss you too much since we talk 3-4 times a week... but I will miss reading your writing. There's just something about seeing the words put to "paper" that I love.

Did, I will miss you since you never bother to call (J.K.)! :) I may go through e-mail withdrawals! That's ok, 'cause YOU'RE GETTING MARRIED!!!! So now you have to stay in touch with your old married friends.

Needlefingers, I will miss seeing all the fabulous creations I'd never have the patience to finish...even if I knew how to knit! And I'll miss hearing about fiber, and socks, and spinning, and all the crafty fun you have in your yarn room! Guess I'll just have to put out some effort and call you!

Pilot, I'll miss your pictures and fabulous sense of humor (National Urination Day!) Not to mention the kitty exploits! Enjoy that new camera.

Zann, guess we'll have to go back to pen and paper. What is this world coming to? I'm so glad you "tracked me down" 5 years ago. You are such a blessing.

Inkling, I can't even think about this. Not only will I miss out on your beautiful writing, but you're MOVING TO CANADA!!!! Seriously, is he really worth it? :) I'm so happy for you. I'm just sad for me...you understand.

Emily, I'll miss seeing if your avatar is emoting for you and whether or not you ever master that bottle opener! I will miss the Boy and Girl's adventures, but most of all I will miss your generosity (the CD offer).

Sarah, I hate to think about missing out on Princess and Pumpkin's growing up. The stories are so precious and you tell them so well. I will miss your humor and out look in the trials of mother hood! They help me stay sane. (You and Emily and the others help me to remember I'm not alone in this parenting mess.)

Dana, I'll miss your touching stories. When I think my life is hard I go back and read about the things you've survived, and I realize I can handle strep throat and loosing my internet. And your photos...I need to go down load them so I can revisit.

Cate, I'm not sure how I'll cope with out your grandkid stories. I'll miss your creativity (Nudge-Nudge) and ingenuity (the shoe lace idea is my favorite). Your support and kind words have made my day many times. I only hope I can be half the grandma you are someday!

Halleyville, the Ranch Fairy, what will I do without Jeezy and Playboy stories? Take good care of those critters! Maybe I'll get an alpaca and name her after you! Try not to work too hard!

Brando, guess this means I'll have to meet you in real life! To see Yin and Yuri in the flesh! They can come run around the farm with my three and get good and filthy!

Roosterhen, just as you return from your hiatus, I'm beginning mine. I will miss reading the exploits of Sam and his girls...not to mention your new possum friend! Keep them all well fed!

Caroline, I shall miss you and your little house a great deal. Your faith is beautiful. Your children are beautiful. I always seem to learn something reading your posts. And it's good to know I'm not the only "White trash" running around Wal-Mart! :)

Gracious, I will miss seeing the pictures of your DD and her spotted egg (that was so funny!). You have such wonderful adventures. I'll miss reading along.

Phinner, I'll miss your beautiful creations. You have such an artistic flair and such a creative mind. Thank you so much for the joy you brought to Baby Girl in the form of a pink butterfly!

Anonymous Jones, I'll miss your Aussie perspective and odd discoveries (maggots in chocolate and corpses on the way to school...). You make me laugh!

Keith, I miss you period. I know we didn't get to see you often, but the thought of you being half way around the world instead of 3 hours away, makes all the difference. God bless you in your work in Japan. Guess I'll have to invest in some air mail stamps!

And finally
Ragged, I think I may miss you most of all. You've been instrumental in my decision to blog at all. I can't wait to read about the adventures of Chez Ragged. I'm going to miss seeing how your home develops over time. I can't thank you enough for your instruction with my template and links and the graphic you made for my list of 100 things about me.

I just want you all to know how blessed I feel by having "met" you and by having your input in my life. The support and humor you've shared has helped me through some very tough days. I'll try to check in periodically just to make sure you're all still out there, but it won't be the same. I won't be spending hours connecting with you all and I will miss that. Thank You so much. God bless you all.

*the tulip was a gift from Husband's cousin J. He brought it to me last night. Bless his 12 year old heart.

No worries my dear, my stationary has been getting dusty since we stopped using them. And you won't miss a thing in my blog which is somewhat scarcely written in anyway - for as I post I will just print you out a copy and send it along ;P

I'm so very sad about your bloging moving from everyday to maybe once a week.
I love to read about your kids and life on the farm.
It is one of my daily pleasures. My work day won't be the same.

Say it ain't so.

One thing I have come to depend on is a post from you every day...and an entertaining one at that.

How can you possibly save up all the adventures you have for once a week?

Well, I'll take that if there's nothing I can do to change your mind. I hope your life is filled with rainbows, and that one day you get your internet back!!!

Oh, Farmwife, you made me cry. No fair. We'll just have to meet in person so I can tell you how much I have enjoyed reading your blog. You truly are gifted. Keep writing, even it if isn't online. Your adventures are certainly worth the effort to record.

How can I take care of a puny, snot-covered, sick toddler with tears streaming down my face?? I refuse to believe that you won't be posting regularly. I will just tell myself that my internet connection is bad or that blogger hates me when I don't see a new post. Thank you for everything!!!
