Can Anyone Recommend a Good Sitter?

The babysitting stint went pretty well. O.N. cried for just a few minutes after his mom left. Then he settled down in my lap to watch Madagascar. When the conversation turned to Chuck E. Cheese he perked right up (which is unusual for O.N.). Then SIL brought pizza back for all the kids so it turned out pretty well in the end.

I asked SIL what was going on with Niece E that she had to make a mid day trip to talk to the principal. Apparently some boys double dog dared Niece E to pee in the drain in the bathroom floor (it doesn't get more serious than a double dog dare). When it was found out that she was the culprit (it's a VERY small school), she was suspended for 2 days. The boys got off scott free because they denied involvement. SIL and I do not understand the point of suspending a third grader. It's just a free vacation in her eyes. Peeing in the floor drain? Where do they get this stuff?

Needlefingers called me this afternoon. I haven't talked to her in months. It's odd because we don't live that far apart, but we never seem to talk or get together. We're conspiring about the knitting hoohah on Saturday. Here's hoping Husband doesn't have to work. Finding a babysitter for 3 kids is hard enough. Throw in 2 puppies mid-house breaking and it's next to impossible! Hey, we could ask Pilot to babysit! I'm sure he'd love that! Then again maybe we'd just better pray that Husband has the day off.

Now if I can just remember to feed the piglets at 5, 7, and 9. Husband thinks I can handle it. I think we may be in trouble. I have trouble remembering to feed myself lately!
