I must confess I've been trying to upload pictures a lot lately with (obviously no luck). I don't know if I'm too impatient, or this thing really does stop. I'd swear it gets 1/2 way through an upload and quits on me. It's great having 16.8 Kbps. Husband is actually suggesting getting something a tad faster! But since we live in the boonies our choices are limited.
So, if I'm successful in this attempt you should be able to check out our newest additions. Alex, Giraffe, and Ben (who's name was changed back when Baby Girl decided she wanted Alex instead). Keep your fingers crossed, or send help!
B.B. is attempting to knock himself unconscious today. He's run into Husband's night stand, slammed his own head into the floor, and pulled the keyboard table out of the tracks and onto his head. If he keeps this up we're going to enter him in the UFC (Ultimate Fighting Championship). If his head is this hard, he should be able to take a punch. Look out Chuck Liddel- B.B.'s comin'! (I only know about this stuff because husband is obsessed with it. I couldn't even watch Million Dollar Baby.)
Baby Girl got a new dress at Wal-Mart yesterday. It's all pink and flitty and has Cinderella on it. How much more could we ask? I'm not sure she'll ever wear anything else. We may need to get an extra for emergencies. Now she wants one with Snow White on it. Hey, if it means she's dressed, it's all good!
I'm officially getting lonely for my grandparents. They live 7 miles from me and I talk to Grandma everyday.
Just after Thanksgiving they went to Florida to stay with my Aunt and Uncle. My Aunt had to have bypass surgery and things have not gone so smoothly for her. After the bypass came fluid on her lungs and next came shingles. On top of that, Bucka (that's what my kids call Grandpa) fell in the yard and ended up with a compression fracture in his back. He's felling better (thanks to the Good Lord and some bone cement), but Aunt K isn't recovering quite as well. They'll be there for quite a while yet helping out. I'm glad they're there, but I still miss them.
I'm very blessed. I still have all 4 of my Grandparents and they're all still married to their original spouses. That's quite an accomplishment these days. It hit me just how rare that is when Husband lost his grandfather last fall. He and Grandma were 2 days from their 58th wedding anniversary. That was tough.
My prayers go out to Ragged who just lost her Grandmother.
On an up note, my picture loaded! Yeah!

Woo-hoo! Pictures!
I know it's tough living in the sticks as far as the Internet options go. We hate living in town, but hoo-boy, is that wireless broadband nice. It will be the only thing we miss when we can finally head to the boondocks.
I am so impressed with your photo. Great uploading. Isn't it awesome?
Thanks so much for your sentiments. Sounds like you are a lucky girl to have your grandfolks nearby most of the time. I hope your aunt is feeling much better and is on the mend.
There is a nationwide initiative to bring high speed access to all "rural" areas, so keep your fingers crossed.
