7 days a week.....

Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is full of woe.
Thursday's child has far to go.
Friday's child is loving and giving.
Saturday's child works hard for a living,
But the child who is born on the Sabbath Day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

Or

Monday's child is fair of face.
Tuesday's child is full of grace.
Wednesday's child is loving and giving.
Thursday's child works hard for a living,
Friday's child is full of woe.
Saturday's child has far to go.
But the child that is born on Sabbath-day
Is bonny and happy and wise and gay.

According to Wikipedia there are two versions of this nursery rhyme. The first is the one most people are familiar with; the current version. The second is the original version from 1887.

Husband was born on Wednesday. I am a Monday's child (tell me you hadn't already guessed that). BabyGirl was born on Wednesday. Both the boys came on Thursday. Bitsy was born on Tuesday. I wonder how true this poem holds up in either form.

BabyGirl & Husband are either full of woe (a trait I do, unfortunately, see in them) or are loving & giving (also traits I see in them). The boys either have far to go or work hard for a living...again, both are true. Mine & Bitsy's don't change.

So, when were you born?

I am a Sunday/Sabbath child...from what you know of me, is it true?

BB was a Saturday baby...and the "current" version is definitely true of him...

Captain Chaos and Tiny Princess were both Thursday babies too...weird...we'll see how it pans out in either case :D

You'll laugh at this, but I found a pattern book for 'Days of the Week' dolls, and mine was "Wednesday's Child Will Knit and Sew".

True story. So, see any of those tendencies in Farm Boy or Baby Girl? If not, I can fix that, you know. ;)
